Good service, quick delivery & regular communication to keep us informed.
Quick delivery . And works well. Thank you.
It was fine, no dramas thanks
Service is always excellent, when buying a product or even when just asking for advice.
Follow up to my last question (below). What’s the best way to clean and maintain this fan? Do you need to add any form of grease etc?
No form of Grease is required. Need to slide the fan out of the housing unit and give it a good wipe down or spray it with water. Do not submerge it in water.
Hi, my fan has been in use for just over a year and has now started to become really loud when running. To the point where to can hear it from inside the house. I see the fans have an expected lifetime of 40k plus hours. Does this sound like a faulty fan? Or is there something I can do to make it run quieter/smoother? Thanks
Hello Logan, This doesn't sound faulty to me. Have you taken the fan out and given it a clean?
What is the usual/expected life expectancy of the fan? I'm debating keeping a spare as I would hate to think of being caught out if it goes down.
Hi Dot, Excellent question, it's a good idea to have a spare fan on hand! The fans come with a standard 12 month electrical warranty
Does thus fit CM 2 ?
Hi Lyn, This fan suits our external housing that fits 100mm ventilation pipe. This is standard with all current Nature Loo and Clivus Multrum products.

I’m very happy with my order.
Fantastic experience dealing with Ecoflow, many thanks
We’ve had a pretty nightmare time trying to get after sales support from EcoFlo. They funnel all support requests into an online system where you log tickets and they have not responded to my urgent requests for help from 3 weeks ago (posting this to try and push them to stop ignoring us). We had a composting toilet professionally installed and have issued from the first week with the system smelling and not composting. The instructions and troubleshooting guides are vague and contradictory so we were not able to self support fix it and can’t get them to respond to us. They also took a month to send out a replacement for a faulty part via our builder who had to chance on our behalf several times. Really disappointed and would not recommend anyone buys from them.
Prompt delivery and the products keep our eco-loo working efficiently and without smell.
I chose a CM8 for an installation with difficult access. I didn't want to drag a 100 kg container over rocks and structural building materials. I chose a Nature Loo HP for the installation with easy access where the wheels would be beneficial.. The maintenance is infrequent and easy. There is no smell and I use the end product around the garden. Seven years on we have saved tens of thousands of litres of drinking water and are still very happy with our CM8 composter.
What's not to love! It's simple, effective and gives my fruit trees a fabulous feed.
Firstly, Jason was amazing at organising my order on time and sending me out the invoice straight away. The install was effortless, I had to level the ground for the 90L tank but other than that, the leaflet is an amazing step by step guide, I was very impressed to be able to of finished it off in only 5 hours and I had to take out an old Compost toilet and reduce the hole. Ecoflo is a 10 out of 10 for me and their customer service is on point. Thanks team!
A great product that meets our needs!
Separett Villa Absorb Pads are very effective for a composting toilet. And great service from Ecoflo - thank you!
Our Nature Loo composter is wonder! 10yrs old and still going as good as new in our off-grid home. That’s sustainable for you. Simplest off-grid appliance in the house. A shot of microbe mix now & then keeps it working perfectly.

Great customer service. Wonderful practical product. Works really well, we love it. Thank you
We're so thrilled to hear you're loving your Nature Loo and that you had a great experience! Thank you so much for the 5-star review. We really appreciate your feedback and are delighted that it's working so well for you. We hope you continue to enjoy the benefits of your Nature Loo! Happy composting from the Ecoflo team!
A very knowledgeable business, we purchased a composting toilet in 2013 and it is still going strong, as are the sunbaking three buckets we have to change out waste. Their newsletter is the only one I love receiving in my inbox - succinct, easy to read and watching the technology progress over the last 11 years has been really wonderful. Love what you do, don't stop!
Thank you so much for your kind words and continued support Sara! We're thrilled to hear your composting toilet is still going strong after all these years, and that our newsletter brings value to your inbox. It's been an exciting journey, and we're grateful to have customers like you who appreciate our passion and progress.
I purchased a Nature Loo Electra Premium composting toilet and Nature Clear Greywater system. I had just moved from a mains system to a rural property tiny home where I am off grid. I was a bit nervous at first about a composting toilet, particularly with my first changeover of waste tank. I was surprised the changeover was easy, quick and no mess! The loo looks great and I'm so glad I purchased it. Great responses from EcoFlo and terrific service.
Thank you very much Susanne! We're thrilled to hear that the transition to a composting toilet was smooth and that you were happy with our service.
The whole experience with Ecoflo was wonderful. The system works perfectly and orders for product are sent out within days of the order request. Great company
Thank you Charles!
We cannot fault the team over at EcoFlo and their fantastic products. The Nature Loo Alectura 🌿 is such a great product but they have a great range depending on what you need. In comparison to other composting toilets, the Nature Loo Alectura is really easy to put together and the pedestal is really tidy and petite - perfect for Tiny Homes and off-grid solutions. This particular composting toilet was the perfect solution for our Tiny Home - built to be completely off-grid on a 20 acre farm. Set up was simple (we had just a few questions and the team were so quick so answer!), the toilet was up and running promptly and has been smooth sailing since installation! The team over at Eco Flo were so great to deal with (as always!) - helpful and attentive with our questions and the aftercare sales is exceptional. We highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I cannot recommend Ecoflo highly enough. They are amazing. Not only are their products excellent quality, but they have literally just helped me out tremendously with an issue I had with an order 3 years ago! (The issue was due to my circumstances, not Ecoflo). Customer service is exceptional. Thank you so much from one very happy customer! Big shout out to Rey for all the help!
Hi Rachel, Thank you for sharing your experience! We are so glad to see that your issue has been resolved and you're happy with the service provided. If you remember the representative that you have spoken with and you're happy to share, feel free to give them a shoutout so we can pass on the positive feedback!
Ecoflo have just gone above and beyond. Their customer service was amazing! Grant was so delightful to deal with, I felt he bent over backwards to ensure our loo was sorted on time. Great work guys! My gratitude is beyond words, cheers!
Hi Julia, Thank you for such kind words! We are so happy to hear about your positive experience, your review has brightened up the office on this Monday morning. We are all glad to hear your toilet seat is fixed! Make sure you get in touch if there is anything else we an do to help :)
I earned a profit of 10% daily and a total of $10,530 after 5 days of successful trading and mining. With an investment of $1,000 in my wallet, I watch my Profit grow daily until I made my withdrawal successfully from my wallet and I converted the bitcoin into cash. Only 5% was charged as commission. Thank you very much for your diligent work, I strongly recommend her to anyone who is interested in trading. The substance appears to work well and has, presumably, allowed me to extend cleaning out episodes very considerably.
Great product and service
Hi Belinda, Thanks for leaving us a review. We love to hear that you're happy with the Alectura! If there is anything else we can do to help you out, please let us know
We infrequently stay at a farm on camping holidays. There could be nobody there for several weeks then over public holidays like the upcoming Easter break there will be upwards of 40. Would the system be able to cope with these peaks and troughs? Also how far from a natural water course (mountain creek) would it need to be positioned?
Hi Ian, It can be hard to calculate volume when there are such fluctuations. Thankfully, the continuous composting systems will happily continue to compost and break down while you're off-peak so that you have the space when you're back in peak season. This makes the Clivus Multrum tanks a good option for sites with periods of high and no usage. As for your concerns about natural water courses, this can vary depending on council restrictions. So we recommend checking with your local authorities
Hey. Does the fan need to run constantly on a guest toilet that won't get used often?. And if need to run the fan off 240v is there a option for that?
Hi Ben, Thanks for your questions about the fan. Regarding fan operation, it's important to keep the fan running when there's material inside the composting chamber. This ensures proper ventilation and helps with the composting process. If you'd like to turn the fan off when the toilet isn't in use, you have a couple of options: 1. Remove the composting chamber: Simply take the chamber out of the unit, place the lid on it, and store it outside or in a suitable location. 2. Empty the chamber: Transfer the material to another composting chamber or a secondary composting system. Now, concerning the power supply, the fan itself operates on 12V DC. To make it compatible with your household power, it comes with a transformer (also known as a power adapter). This transformer converts the standard 240V AC from your wall outlet down to the 12V DC that the fan requires. Therefore, you can easily plug the included transformer into your standard 240V wall outlet, and it will safely power the fan.
Can it be installed in a motor home ?
Hi Kim, The Cinderella Comfort 240V unit can be used in caravan and motorhomes, but not pop top caravans. However, it's very important to consider the flue installation and power usage. When the toilet is installed in a moving vehicle it will of cause need to be anchored to the floor, which is a simple process, and the Comfort has a lock on the ash pan making it safe and secure during travel. If you want to have a more in depth conversation please feel free to flick us an email or give us a call so we can walk you through the process and address any of your concerns
What is the process for emptying the tray? I can't find anything in your manual which shows how easy or otherswise it is to empty. Also do you dump the contents into a composting pile or do you replace the chamber?
Hi Jane, The compost tray is accessed by removing it's cover panel. All you have to do is loosen the two knobs to take the panel off which gives you access to the compost tray. To take the tray out, you have to unplug the indicator hose (which allows you to see from the outside if there is any liquid on the inside), and the tray just slides out. When setting the toilet up and for the first couple of months, the contents in the tray will just be plain bulking agent so you can empty that back into the main chamber of the toilet. When the composting pile in the main chamber reaches the top mixing arm, that is when you need to start removing the compost from the tray.
Can you use the cinderella on solar?
Yes, you can! The toilet's 1.41 kW power consumption per use necessitates a substantial solar and battery system to ensure reliable operation. As a standard, a 10 kW solar array coupled with a 10 kWh battery storage is advised. However, the actual power needs may vary depending on factors such as the frequency of toilet use, the number of occupants, and the overall energy consumption of other appliances in the household.
Where can I download the manual
Hi Chris, Manuals, certification, and any other relevant documentation are available in the description of the product. Look for the button labeled "Attachments" If you're struggling to find anything specific you can always reach out to the team through the "Contact Us" form, or via email or phone
Hello, if the screen only opens with pressure I assume it gets quite dirty. What is the best way to clean without using water? Thanks
Hey Mandy, The chamber screen mechanism is activated by sitting on the toilet seat. The screens move aside so that they should not be coming in direct contact with any waste. With all of our toilets, we recommend an enzyme based cleaner. Just dilute our Nature Flush Enzymes Concentrate into a spray bottle and give the toilet a few good squirts - you can use a toilet brush to clean around the bowl and rinse with warm water. If you don't want to add extra moisture to the chamber by rinsing with water, just spray the enzyme cleaner and wipe surfaces clean with a wad of toilet paper and just throw the toilet paper into the loo.
How noisy is the incinerator
Hi Judy, The installation can affect the sound within reason. But in terms of average household appliances, the incinerating toilet will be louder than your fridge but not as loud as your washing machine. Think along the lines of your microwave in that 50 - 60dB range. You can always come and see our display in our showroom or catch us at at a tiny homes expo to see the demo out and about.
How often do you need to mix the contents in the chamber?
We can't exactly give a definite answer on how often you should mix the contents because it could vary depending on individual installations or different use cases. A good rule of thumb to start with is a crank for each deposit, so that might look like turning the crank a few times to turn the pile at the end of the week. But if you want to talk to a member of the team to get some advice on how the maintenance would like in your situation, feel to reach out to us through the "Contact Us" page
