Jodie hosts ‘The Woolshed Eumundi’; an Airbnb in a rustic Farmer’s shed, in the rolling heels of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The shed boasts open plan living, from where you’d rather be: a picturesque paddock with cows grazing, the sunsetting and (ideally) a glass of wine in hand. It’s an experience few can resist. Whether you’re escaping the city, your home town, or the law, The Woolshed Eumundi is the perfect getaway.
Eumundi was once known as the green town, as it was covered in trees. However, with the famous Eumundi markets and not one; but two breweries popping up this can feel lost to the past. But down the old country roads that snake out of town, one feels a little more connected to the old Eumundi.
Green is what we want to keep places like Eumundi – So managing our waste in ways that is not only sustainable but ethical too is key, this can be achieved with our Ecoflo composting toilets, whether you’re looking to go all in like Jodie (with three installed over her property) or just starting with the one. A composting toilet is the undeniable solution to those looking to go down a greener, and more sustainable path, it also makes living off grid in converted woolsheds a far more feasible possibility.
Our Ecoflo composting toilets, are described by Jodie herself, as awesome and odourless with guests commenting on the cleanliness and being a pleasure to use – and even a relaxing experience. Now whether that particular review was due to our the deluxe seat on our Porcelain Pedestals or the scenic view that comes with sitting on the dunny at Jodie’s Woolshed is yet to be seen.
At the dismay of potential guests, Jodie is currently renting the Woolshed out long-term, and I envy those that get to watch the sunset from this open plan home, relaxing amidst a cow paddock, completely disconnected.
