Continuous Composting Design Features

- The baffle separates the fresh pile from the access door so you only handle composted material - YOU NEVER HANDLE FRESH WASTE
- The sloped design allows the material on the bottom (that has had time to compost) to shift underneath the baffle into the access chamber
- The leachate drain has been designed to reduce the likelihood of a blockage forming
- The false floor encourages airflow and the evaporation of liquids
- The maintenance hatch allows access to the composting pile when necessary, such as retrieving foreign material that's fallen down the toilet, adding extra bulking agent, or levelling the pile
