How It Works
Waterless urinals are designed to eliminate the need for flushing with fresh water. In conventional urinals, urine remains in the trap until flushed away by fresh water. In waterless urinals, the cartridge functions as the trap, allowing urine to pass through into the drain without the need for flushing. The cartridge also serves as a barrier, preventing the backflow of gases and associated odours from the sewer system.
