An aesthetic little self contained toilet to compliment any bathroom
The Separera Mini from Ecolet™ is a dry toilet, with a small and compact design. The shiny, porcelain-look combined with the sturdy toilet seat and lid, gives this loo an appearance that will fit into any style of bathroom (without the actual weight of the porcelain). Making it a great choice for motor homes, RVs, caravans, boats, and tiny houses. It has a convenient chamber screen that automatically hides the waste when not in use.
This is a small batch system that comes with two interchangeable 15L solid chambers. These can be swapped out and emptied as required. If you’re interested in composting this waste into a nutrient rich resource, we recommend emptying these chambers into an external composting chamber.

With this model, urine is drained away separately through a hose.
This could be directed into any of the following:
- a blackwater tank
- an external collection bottle and diluted an used as fertiliser
- an underground absorption trench AKA soak pit

Instructions
- Always sit down when using the toilet. Sit a little further back than usual so that urine and solid waste are separated. Ideal for Adult use.
- The view screens will open when you sit down.
- Toilet paper can be thrown in the same bin as solid waste.
General advice from the manufacturer
- Flush the urine bowl with hot water weekly to reduce crysalisation build up.
- If insects get into the toilet, you can sprinkle diatomaceous earth on the compost.

- If you do experience a bad smell in the room, check that the pipe connections are properly sealed, that there is no blockages, and there is a steady airflow.
- To clean the toilet, use only mild detergent. Never use abrasive cleaning agents.
- If you leave the house for more than 2 days, switch off the fan and put the cover in the toilet bowl. If there is a good natural draft no smell will occur.
- Empty the solid waste regularly, the bags start to decompose after 2-3 week.
